May's Bookclub selection is a tribute to the power of music. Four novelists grapple with the ethereal nature of music and it's transformative effect on our souls. Who will grab your vote for May's Book of the Month?

I thought Bel Canto sounded lame - too much like the plot of a mindless action film - but it was very touching.

It was a lovely book.

Bel Canto was wonderful. In fact, it's one of thebest books I've read in the last few years. I adored it.
