Need a cheery book to read

Hello I would like a heartwarming cheery book to read that might lift my spirits . Any suggestions ?

Anything by Beth O’Leary! My favourites are ‘The Flat Share’ and ‘The Switch’

Also, agree with everyone not recommending Eleanor Oliphant. Not exactly ‘lighthearted’ and also I have never been so angry upon finishing a book!

I just read Cold Comfort Farm. It’s an oldie but so fun, quirky and heart-warming.

The Polwenna Bay series by Ruth Saberton. They’re set in Cornwall - based on Polperro - and warm, family sagas .

The Grand Sophy by Georgette Heyer

Also second The Flatshare. Funny and light, especially in a world of technology.
Not Elinor Oliphant, this is about trauma and I found it sad. Especially the end.
