What's happened to Book Club?

Has it changed form and I've missed it? I don't get newsletters any more, don't know why?

Hi Clawdy, no book club is still going strong but there's been a break with newsletter over Christmas. The first newsletter will be sent out on Monday.

This year we've already got some brilliant books/authors lined up for Book of the month slot, take a preview here. We've already got a busy schedule booked in for our weekly book giveaway and we'll continue to feature debut authors in our debut author fiction club. Finally, we're going to be resurrecting our non-fiction book of the month. Do let us know if there are any particular books you'd like us to feature this year and we'll do our best to get hold of some copies.

Hi Clawdy, you need to check your newsletter subscription settings here (or click on 'My account' on the drop down menu where it says 'my Mumsnet' at the top right hand side of the page. Then click on 'newsletters' tab at the top of the page. If you're signed up and still not receiving the newsletter, double check it's not going into your spam folder. If it isn't, drop me a personal message and I'll ask our tech team to have a look.

Waving furiously - check your settings as above and let us know on this thread if you have any further difficulties. The next newsletter will be sent out at about 5pm on Monday.

Hi Rachel,tried to send you a message but don't think it "sent"! The link didn't work and then when I clicked on My Account, I couldn't see a Newsletters tab.

Sorry.I've found the tab now and I am still signed up. Will check spam folder.

I get my newsletter from time to time but wonder whether some go astray too.

Hi Clawdy, it looks like we tried to send you one of our newsletters last year and it bounced (this can happen for lots of reasons), so you got put into our 'do not bother this person' category. I've taken you out of there so you should start to receive newsletters from us once again.

Has the same happened to me? I used to receive the newsletter than it abruptly stopped and although I have tried to subscribe again and checked that I have ticked the box on my newsletter subscriptions I have received nothing.

Me too! Used to get Newsletters but none for a while now...

Hi there, we've looked into this and last time we tried to send newsletters to you (Gailforce and burwellmum) they bounced (apparently there can be loads of reasons for this) but we've reset now so you should receive the newsletter from now on. The next newsletter is going out later today so let us know if you don't receive it by the end of the day.

I'm afraid it has happened to me again,third time! I sent a message about it a couple of weeks ago and have still heard nothing.

Hi, I really enjoyed the book club chat last night so thank you so much for organising it. I know it's Julian Barnes for February (my copy is on its way) but is there a list anywhere of March and April reads - just want to get them ordered so that I actually manage to read them. Thanks so much.
