Anyone read Malala's book yet?

Hi. I am thinking about getting two copies of 'I am Malala', one for me and my daughter (6) and one for my niece who lives in my home country and is doing very well at her English Lessons (but reads only 1D shite).
My niece is turning 13.
Is she too young for this book
?

I have bought it to read for my DD1 (11) and I... and maybe DD2 (9). SHe is an utterly amazing young woman.
