No idea but for many boarding schools, if you can pay and your child is not going to disrupt lessons, you can probably get a place.

Not as hard as they would like you to think.
Hence the cynical and disingenuous shift to co-ed.
If you aren’t Chinese and you want to board I should imagine it would be very easy

I think demand has gone up
as a lot of people who might have traditionally gone go boarding school are looking there now- if nearby. It has a good bus service. It might change again as now taking girls.

@parietal I must disagree DS attends the school and is in the Vth form. The application process was very vigorous and entrance exams varied from very difficult to manageable. Even after passing the entrance exam only a handful of boys are picked for an interview which can be quite intimidating but rewarding vise versa. It's a very academically competitive school some boys had been kicked out previous years for poor end of year exams. I'd say it's a relatively hard school to get into plus with the school becoming co ed I can only imagine places will be even more competitive.
