I am writing this post to warn prospective parents and students about the unethical and frankly shocking financial practices at Lucton School in Hereford. Four years ago I accidentally sent a considerable sum of money to the school. Despite providing irrefutable evidence, including matching IBAN numbers, numerous emails and constant chasing, I have yet to receive my money back.
I am appalled that a school which purports to instil ethics and morals in young minds can blatantly ignore a mistake and refuse to rectify it. Over these four years my emails have been ignored, my concerns have been dismissed and my hard-earned money remains unreturned. This is not just a financial issue but a glaring ethical failure on the part of the school's administration.
Such fraudulent behaviour from an educational institution is unacceptable. I urge all parents and prospective students to be wary of this school's practices. If they can treat someone who made an honest mistake with such disregard and dishonesty, it raises serious concerns about the values they are imparting to their students.
Lucton School needs to address this issue immediately and take responsibility for their actions. Until then, I cannot in good conscience recommend this school to anyone.
