Has anyone got off the wait list for Marlborough College 2025 entry yet?

Hi OP. My son was waitlisted for Marlborough (2024). In the end we decided we wanted a bit more weekend flexibility so I didn't pursue it, but the advice of others who have been through it is that it's not a case of "dead man's shoes" whereby there's a priority list established and they just go down the list if a space opens up- the waitlist is dynamic and pro-activity counts, so keep enquiring/ sending reports and achievements, and making sure they know you are keen, and if they haven't already, ask your DC's current head to call and make a recommendation.

Yeah - I used to live overseas and Marlborough was a popular choice because of the full boarding aspect. I had a number of friends who were waitlisted and finally got places when the DC were in Year 8. Does your DC have other offers or have you been focusing on Marlborough to date?
