Hello! We have two boys (7 and 9) and we live in overseas. We have visited both WSH and PR in October. Both school seems impressive.

I would be keen to hear from any current parents about the pro and cons on both school on boarding, academics, food etc. Thank you!

Just bumping for you OP, but as I said on your other thread, these two are to my mind, two of the best coed boarding preps in the country. For me, it would come down to gut feel, number of weekly/ full boarders, extra curricular and class sizes. Hopefully some current parents will be along soon.

We have two dc at Windlesham House School, and they absolutely love the place. Every school has a few small issues, but WHS seem proactive at sorting out problems. The children have an amazing time, and they all seem to love school - lots of activities, some amazing inspirational teachers and wide friendship groups.

The school can achieve fantastic academic results but they have a wide range of children and those we know of feel supported and empowered. I’d say the pastoral support for boarders is particularly strong. It is also quite international which I view positively - a nice mix of different nationalities which blends well.

The new head seems to have settled in now, and feedback is pretty positive.

I am sure Port Regis is great too, but I don’t know it.
