Groups of youths with no respect.

I was in the park near the Galleries with my 7 year old daughter, when a group of youths aged about 12-14 approached her when she was playing on the slide. They pushed her down and started repeatedly swearing at her and saying slurs to her. Repeatedly calling her the N word. Along with “coon” “cotton picker” and “slavery ridden cunt”. I’m VERY angry about this and I will be calling the police. I dont feel safe around my own hometown now as a black woman who is just trying to raise her children to be respectful.

How is this still happening in the modern day? 😫😓

It’s disgusting! Who raised these youths? If I behaved like this I would’ve been clipped across the backside!

As said above by @DaysIllRememberAllMyLife - where on earth are these young people even hearing these words and phrases?
What is going on with society - we seem to have gone backwards in terms of racism etc.

You go to the police and state this as a racist crime and serious threat; they pushed her down and laid hands upon her; how soon before that group degenerate into something much worse in their actions alongside the crude language used and possibly get away with it?

I live in the east end of London where you get gangs of these eastern european boys who I know assume the position of being superior as they are "other white" and come from openly crudely thinking countries
I've had run-ins myself but I'm a grown woman born and bred here unlike many of them are so I answer back in my best English voice and scatter their logic
Also you'll get the white working class frustrated types too totally dangerously moronic and aggressive all at once who have always hovered in the background waiting with a sarky comment or two
And just like you I'm feeling its getting nastier out there; the horrors may persist but so do I!

So we as a people must defend ourselves, put the relevant actions and blocks into place and always be aware that the more things change, some will more or less could stay the same

Cotton pickers is an odd phrase to be used. I doubt most British 12-14yos know what that refers to.

Definitely report it to the police. Time, date, exact location, detailed description of the group. If it's on a specific estate, the local police community support officer will know who they are and who the ring leaders are. Will be able to intervene with parents, youth workers etc.

It may be am odd phase to you but because most "white passing" right wing countries will take their history from the USA as opposed to the UK
They come in with preconceived ideas of the "good old halcyon days" when whites literally had the whip hand
