When will this poor excuse for toilet paper be held to account for the harm they continually perpetuate with their crappy "journalism"? Absolutely sickening to see the way they have printed the murder of Daniel Anjorin squashed into a tiny column with dehumanising wording. That poor child and his family deserve so much better. I know we can't really expect much better from The Sun but it's just so frustrating to see it happening time and time again.

It was their full front page story on May 1st, headline 'Boy, 14, never stood a chance'.

Gutter press you mean. Nobody wants to read about murdered children, it should not be happening and more needs to be done to prevent these crimes. I’ve also complained. Thank you @SaveMyArchitrave .

It’s an abhorrent and sick way to report the death of a child. I don’t care if it’s been front page before, it’s utterly lacking in any ounce of sensitivity or empathy.

He deserves respect and compassion, as do his devastated family.

It's not reporting the death of a child, it's a headline about the news on that day, which is that the parents have made public tributes, which are reported on in full inside the paper (if you squint you can just about make out the page numbers it previews). Maybe read that before writing in to complain.

I agree that 'sword boy' is clumsy and insensitive. But the twitter post in the OP is extremely misleading, comparing the reporting of the two deaths, when it should show the actual reporting of the death, which was on the previous day, and was a full front page.

I was speechless when I saw this. I think this is the most tasteless and despicable thing I've ever seen in the British press. The boy's death is a joke to them, a bit of light entertainment. Fucking hell.

My complaint isn't the difference in reporting because as you point out, Daniel's murder was previously a full page, it's the use of the wording which as a pp has said, is dehumanising.
