Afternoon Mummies
It's another one of those leaving London threads. I tried to find one specifically for Kent but there wasn't one I could see.
Have any of you moved from London to Kent? I've put an offer on a house in New ash green and it's beautiful and the location seems lovely but I fear (as we all do) the kids may be bullied in school I'd hate for them to be the only black kids in the school. I couldn't quiet see how diverse the area was but it wasn't looking very mixed. The people were lovely I must say but I was looking for some reassuring on the school situation as there doesn't seem to be many.
Is there better locations I should be looking in? I've heard gravesend is very diverse but I've also heard it's not a nice place to live in.
Any suggestions/opinions would be great. My budget is 400k and was hoping for a 1/1.5 hr commute to London.
I did also check tilbury out which seemed nice but again people tell me not a nice place to live in. Sigh. Its so hard and confusing
