Black guy in durag in Tesco Christmas advert!

This year's Christmas advert starts off with a black guy who works for Tesco wearing a blue durag😁 I'd seen the advert a few times but it took me a while to actually realise he was wearing a durag!

Whenever I go Tesco's (south London) I'll often see some younger black guys working their shifts in durags or I'll see some girls in their bonnets/headscarves so I think it's great they've put him in an advert wearing one. It's just a little thing but has got me excited😂

I wondered if anyone else has noticed this?

I want to see the advert. I have a friend who spends his time wearing one to get best waves. The dedication is amazing.

True but sometimes comfort has to come first🤷🏾‍♀️ especially when you work in retail and you're on an early shift!

Hadn’t watched it properly before, but actually it’s considerably more entertaining than most Christmas adverts!

Durags in public I can cope with. Bonnets I’m wtf.
My sons LOVE the ad! They feel seen because of that one guy!
