Thinking about complaining but is it just me or is this offensive? It's the bit at the end that really got me It’s nice to have a little bit of colour, but not the boot polish look

Yes the boot polish comment is offensive. It's one of those throw away comments that many white people won't pick up on as racist or having racist undertones, but is something that continues to perpetuate certain attitudes.

But it's soooo wonderful that she can take off the "brown bootpolish" and put it on again whenever she fancies!
