So pleased to see this! Unfortunately I don't have much to recommend. TBH nothing I've tried has been as good for my skin as eating really well, laying off sugar, taking exercise, and getting sun and sea water on holiday. I still struggle with spots and oily skin.

But I've been using a body lotion with lactic acid on my chest where I had some dark spots from acne and that seems to be helping - the brand is Ameliorate.

I just got myself a new corrector from Bobbi Brown for my dark under eye circles and they have a decent range for darker skin tones.

Cerave cleanser and moisturiser. The ordinary niacidamide for break outs. Recommended to both my sisters with great results.

Hada labo facial skincare products for all day moisturised, baby soft & supple skin. (Japanese skincare). Available in boots, superdrug and Amazon.

Some very good advice in this video which is very relevant for black skincare

Setting aside my intense dislike of the name - the Dr Barbara Sturm Darker Skin Tones Enzyme Cleanser is probably the best cleanser I've ever used. Very good value as it lasts for months and months and months.

Does anyone have a budget high SPF suncream they can recommend for my face to use daily? I'm apprehensive about spending a lot of money for a product to leave the dreaded white cast.

Thanks!

Spf 50 or higher?

I recommend high strength vitamin c serum (with hylaclaric acid) for anyone who isn’t white. It’s really good for pigmentation.
