I follow a few ‘directories’ as so to speak on IG and Facebook for black business/services and also for female owned/independents.

You can do a search on either platforms to get the directories.

U.K. Jamii on IG a good place to start, I think they follow most of the directories.

'Black owned economy' on FB. There's a treasure trove of businesses sharing their wares.

You have to join the group to see, but it's so worth it!

Just discovered a Jamaican restaurant near me which is black owned (and the food is delicious!). Obviously, they won’t be local to most of you, but do keep an eye out for black owned businesses when shopping locally.

Christmas decorations

I’ve recently taken delivery of a face mask and matching earring which were handmade by @Alisbespokecreations on Instagram. They were really well made and I love the different prints.

Also, it’s not skincare or business, but I love reading and recently found a new young black author called @charliauthor on Instagram. I got sucked into her book trilogy and I think she’s due to release another book early next year.
