MESSAGE TO ALL ESPECIALLY LURKERS

To facilitate our buddy up system (for when we go into labour) I have taken the liberty of trimming our list of names who have not posted in many months. Please do not be offended if you are no longer on the list, I will gladly add you back and offer my apologies. It would be great to hear from some old names. I appreciate that some people prefer to post on other nate-natal threads now so if you would like to be removed from our list please let me know and I will do so. Best wishes to all. Puzzle

People keep asking if Im just about to drop or have twins and when I say its just the one/ got 11 weeks to go they look at me in disbelief but then Im quite small so probably just looks big proportionally iyswim.

phdlife · 15/02/2009 12:08

yes I think it's the same here staryeyed. I'm not that small (5'4) but short between pelvis and ribs so there's nowhere for it to go but oot!

nigeltuffnell · 16/02/2009 15:48

I'm glad you've removed me as I have no computer at home now and would be no use to anyone as a buddy....

Good luck to all!

purlease · 16/02/2009 15:52

You lot are just too bloody hard to keep up with!

May be incommunicado once I finish work as our home computer broken - hope to keep work blackberry but it is a pain to browse. Will get the word out though.

purlease · 16/02/2009 15:57

On the bump competition, I think I am well out of contention. I have 7 weeks to go and people are only starting to notice. I am 5'11' which probably helps. Still wearing one pair of non maternity jeans (boyfriend style from next)as the bump is above the waistline. From behind you wouldn't know that I am pregnant at all.

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 16/02/2009 16:03

Hey Nigeltuffnell & purlease

how are you both doing? nice to hear from you xx

Purlease - about your pc.

purlease · 16/02/2009 16:09

worst is DH works in IT and sorts everyone elses computer out when we visit

PuzzleRocks · 16/02/2009 16:15

Hi Nigel - Best wishes for the birth.

Purlease - You lucky so and so! I'm enormous.

nigeltuffnell · 16/02/2009 16:21

Am bit gutted about computer actually as seem to remember fantastic 4am support last time with DS...

I've only posted recently (from work) on the I hate pregnancy thread so won't go into how I'm doing as is very boring although thanks for asking!

Hopefully I'll be back in time for the post natal chats

Good luck all ! XXX

purlease · 16/02/2009 16:23

lost lots of weight after DD1 but managed to find it all again in the intervening years .

For me this is a bit of an extreme but effective way of losing weight. I think it can be explained a bit by not drinking - also when I am working I will often have 2 meals in the day as wehave a great canteen but DH doesn't and we like to sit down to dinner in the evening.

PuzzleRocks · 16/02/2009 19:13

Nigel - Hopefully we will hear from you postnatally then. There are some fabulous and wise ladies due April who i'm sure will offer the same support if needed. Take care.

very reasurring having a support system although i now feel so big i feel that i actually need a physical support such as scaffolding After trying to cross road quickly to avoid a car with dh saying quick run he then said to me "oh you can't go forward faster you seem to waddle more from side to side".

PuzzleRocks · 17/02/2009 18:51

I'm also finding roads a bit tricky now that i'm twice as wide as I used to be.
