Has anyone been to the Sanctuary in London, and what do you recommend? A frend and I were thinking of going for the afternoon. What is good for pregnancy (first trimester)..
Thanks

There are certain things that you can't do, but if you are just happy with using the different pools and going in the relaxation rooms as well as having the treatments suitable for mums to be then its a great day.

I went and had a 30 minute session in their colour studio - you lie on a really comfy lounger and get tucked up in a blanket and drift off whilst looking at the blues and greens on the screens that change as well as listening to the claming music and inhaling the beautiful smells.

I guess it all depends on whether you are wanting to do everything or whether you are happy to just go and relax and do the bits that are suitable.

We found that the day flew by!

I went last year for my birthday. I had never been to a spa before. I had a fantastic time. I was on a special package which included champagne on arrival. Drinking Champagne and 10:00 in the morning really relaxed me and set me up for fantastic day. I did think the pools were pretty cold though.

I haven't been, but to quote my BF, never ever again.

And if you get her really tiddly and mention the Sanctuary , she will do the Scarlett O ' Hara thing..............As God is my witness..........
