After a C-section

Hi, I had my first baby via C-section 10 weeks ago.
i was wondering what others have done, I had my 8 weeks ago review with my gp and she recommended to go back on birth control, but I was worried about going back on the pill as it took ages to conceive after coming off the pill the doctor recommend the mini pill for me instead this time.
my only thought are I haven’t yet had a period and it’s been 10 weeks now and if I go on the mini pill you don’t have a period, but I was wondering if others have been on the mini pill and been ok and also when we want another one in 2 years time, was the mini pill better once coming off again

I conceived after 4 months while using the minipill. Based on the fact that you have to take it at the same time every day without fail I would assume it’s quicker to leave your system and have fewer impacts on fertility.

The GP recommended the same to me after my c-section but I didn’t get on with the mini-pill and changed to the non-hormonal coil. Once you have the coil taken out you are technically able to conceive straight away.
