Hi all, I have just finished my training as a birth and post natal doula, and in order to broarden my experience, I am offering ladies my services for FREE.

I would like to visit for 2 antenatal visits in your home and attend the birth of your baby. I offer emotional and practical support.
I DO NOT OFFER MIDWIFERY CARE OR ADVICE. I AM NOT MEDICALLY TRAINED

If you are interested, please email me

Happy pregnancies to you all. xxx

Do you think it's helped you get work at all. I find NB forum very quiet, (well I'm used to this mad lot) lol

I'll joid duk cos it gets your name out there. My freind who trained is setting up a website, but I haven't the know how to do that. Maybe I'll ask my 12 yr old dd to do it.

i have my own website, but virtually all of my jobs and enquiries have come through doula uk, i think it is the main place people will look for a doula as htey know they are getting someone who has done a recognised course and has a code of practice and a philosophy.

Have re-sent Pillock (with a link to my new website )

got it this time!

I'd say that Doula UK was the first place I'd look (after MN of course!) but it is then good to have a website to click on to learn more about the prospective doula

It's worth joining DUK. Best advertising that there is. I also have my own website which prospective clients click on to. It brings in business.

If you can afford it I'd recommend you get your site professionally built. Morningpaper (a mumsnetter) built both of mine www.mammydoula.co.uk and www.thebabymoon.co.uk and I love them and have had lots of positive feedback about them.

It's a wonderful job doula-ing. I love and adore it!

What a doula does?
Some photos
Testimonials
Frequently asked questions.

etc.........

MP will help you with all of that if you use her services.
