Got a bfp today, had my Mirena out at the beginning of March, didn't bother trying in April with the uncertainty of lockdown etc. I'm 38 with one DS aged 6. Due date will be around 2nd Feb but assuming all goes well I'll be an elective section so probably last week in January sometime?

Looking forward to some company! Get testing!

How is everyone feeling in terms of symptoms? Apart from my boobs looking noticeably bigger and the odd wave of nausea I feel pretty much ok

JessicaPeach · 03/06/2020 09:10

I'm ok so far, boobs a bit sore and sleeping like the dead at night but that's it so far

I'm feeling really sick and my boobs have been leaking ! Only stopped breastfeeding 6 months ago haha

fiona2911 · 03/06/2020 10:58

I'm knackered, getting waves of nausea and feel like I constantly need the loo but that's it so far :-)

Hi all! I found out on Monday we are pregnant - this will be our first. I've taken a pregnancy test each day as I cant quite believe it! NHS says I'm due 13th Feb. Can I get links to fb group? I've had the worst cramps all week - I hope this is normal!! Excited but so so nervous!

Hi @JessicaPeach how do you send a pm? Smile

Opticabbage · 03/06/2020 20:39

Hello everyone, congratulations all around! I've just got a BFP, due Feb 12th, and am soooo tired already.

JessicaPeach · 03/06/2020 21:25

You have to do it via the website rather than the app

Alice2201 · 03/06/2020 21:41

I think I may have requested to join the fb group from the other feed (maybe!) Xx

JessicaPeach · 03/06/2020 21:56

I can't see a request but if you log into mumsnet via the website you can send me a pm x

Is anyone have cramps/sharp pains on both side?

Bishboshbanana · 05/06/2020 20:53

Hi, can I tentatively join you? Got my BFP yesterday, still in shock!

EssJayyCee · 06/06/2020 07:05

I would like to join. But I'm a bit dubious with my bfp as it is really faint at 13dpo.
I'm scared it is going to be a chemical 👎🏼
Due date should be Valentines day if it sticks 😊

JessicaPeach · 06/06/2020 09:24

Cramps and stretching type pains are quite normal xx

Hi girls! I just found out I am pregnant after 2 miscarriages- no we we're not trying again due to covid but I’m home from work and so is hubby so hopefully can stay safe! I’m due 11th Feb.

LauMoore · 07/06/2020 16:54

Anyone else panicked about Covid 19 and baby!?!? I’m a wreck as did NOT foresee this happening right now even though I really really want a baby and been trying for a year and a half! Also going to have to tell my boss I’m pregnant wen I get to 6 weeks as they may need me to return to work- eeeekkkk

JessicaPeach · 07/06/2020 19:32

No not really, might have to go to 12 week scan alone but I think a lot will have changed even by 20 weeks and certainly there will have been further change by the time our babies are due.

The covid advice at the moment is a risk assessment at 28 weeks I think so you should be fine to go back to work x

LauMoore · 09/06/2020 09:50

I think for me it’s more the worry of something going wrong rather than the routine scans etc (I’ve had 2 previous) miscarriages which required many, many trips to the hospital) My job is fairly tricky for 2m distances so I pray they won’t unfurlough me for a while longer.

Hayleylou89 · 09/06/2020 19:24

Hi Ladies, May i Join?

Im pregnant and due Feb 2021 after a loss of our first baby girl in Feb this year at 23 weeks, I went into sudden preterm labour 😞. Has anyone else experienced pre term labour and then followed on with a new pregnancy?

Weirdly enough the the new baby is due the same week, my baby girl was born 3/2/21 but iv only just had an early 6 week scan and all was ok 🙏🌈💖💙

Xx

Hello!
After a year of trying for baby number 1 (I’m 35) i got my BFP!
Due 12th Feb - had a chemical in December. Feel surprisingly chilled out :)
