No this is my fourth pg so babies number 4 and 5 !! Very much a surprise lol!!

Hi miniandme,

Brilliant - and no doubt a surprise! Got yourself a 5-aside there huh?

That gives me some courage that childbirth can't be soooo bad really when I meet mums like you.

Have you had all your babies at St Johns? Even though I'm moving to Edinburgh I've still opted to go there as I know the wards and the standards of cleanliness etc - and I've heard bad things about the Royal Inf.

Yes i had all my babies in st johns and will have the twins there too.It is a very clean hospital and the delivery staff are fantastic, the maternity staff upstairs though can sometime sbe a bit
But it may be better since i was last there 5 years ago with my daughter

Mama2Peanut · 17/09/2007 10:37

Nice to know someone else shares that opinion. I worked there for a wee while - that's the only reason I've seen inside the wards - though not the delivery rooms.

I've got my first antenatal class at St Johns next Monday night which I'm looking forward to - though I'm a few weeks premature for it.

Hi ther Miniandme,

No I worked there a couple of summers ago but I was already working full time in an IT company and was studying for an Hons degree in psychology so it was all too much and I gave it up.

I still remember the great canteen breakfasts though - 3 courses for like...50p
