Did anyone do nct or similar for a second baby?

Just wondering if anyone has done this and your opinions. My second will be almost 5 when new baby is here. Did nct the first time, enjoyed it amd found it generally useful bar the "breathe your baby out" and "breastfeeding doesn't hurt" messages. Made a couple of good friends who I'm still in regular contact with and the wider bunch were good to socialise with in the early days. Wondering whether to repeat it for baby no 2. Primarily for the social benefits if I'm honest, I'm not terribly outgoing so having a readymade group of people to hang around with was nice. Most of my friends with children have already had their second babies some time ago so they won't be in quite the same space as me, iykwim, and I found it hard to strike up friendships at baby groups as my baby cried almost non stop for 12 months (no joke) and I had pnd as a result. Cons would be: might the other parents think its weird to have a second time mum at the group? And it's an expensive way to make friends! The NHS classes aren't much cop in my area tbh.

Thanks if you got through that, I didn't realise it was such a long paragraph! I should also say, there are no nct refresher courses available in the right location/timeframe so it would be the full course (8 sessions I think).

Yes have done a suite of excellent NCT style but far more sensible and non pressure classes at local NHS hospital largely free a couple paid. Also included one for second time parents which was the best
