Hello, wondering if there are any other first time mums to be due in Feb 2018?

I can't be the only on shitting myself.

Welcome Llama I've told some nearest and dearest. The people who knew we were trying and who we'd want support from if things dont work out.

I personally feel better about waiting now til the scan at 12 weeks before telling the rest of the world. It's nice to have people to talk to in real life about symptoms

Today I've felt shattered had another nap! This will have to stop when I got back to work next week.

Hello, how's everyone getting on?
Sorry to hear about anxiety, Squirrel and Emily, and that you feel better soon. You are definitely not alone in those feelings if that helps at all.
Had a week of feeling fine, no sickness, but it's back with a vengeance today. I'm weirdly starving but the thought of any food is making me feel awful. Apart from... I could murder a garlic naan.

Had some bleeding last weekend so went for scan, all was fine and saw its heartbeat 😳 glad all was ok but wow, that was weird.

Argh fed up with the sickness and hideous sore boobs, and am only 7 weeks... sigh.

First baby here! Due between 17th and 22nd Feb (NHS calculator says 22nd due to my longer cycle length but all other apps etc say 17th). I guess il have to wait until my first scan to have a better idea of due date.
Just rang my midwife today to book in with them so looking forward to those appointments. It's starting to feel a bit more real! Hope everyone is doing ok in this heat!

cookingbabydunc · 19/06/2017 18:17

Congratulations all those with a BFP!

This heat is killing me!! I'm usually pretty good in hot weather but I'm struggling so much I'm worried it'll be my give away. My colleagues all went to have lunch in the park today, something I often instigate but I'm opting for stating indoors and if possible cool wherever and whenever I can. A bit of a drop in temperature and done breeze would've much appreciated! Are other people also struggling more than usual?

ELFR · 20/06/2017 13:01

Constantly overheating at the moment! WFH today which is good as my house is pretty cool. Completely bloated (got offered a seat on tube yesterday, I'm only 6 weeks). Massively over emotional at the moment, cried before at NHS email because it had a "picture" of what the baby looks like at 6 weeks and I was upset it was all ugly!

smeerf · 21/06/2017 15:50

Can I join? EDD 26-28th Feb according to the calculator, although like Squirrel I'm just holding my breath at the moment.

Is anyone else really exhausted? I'm falling asleep at my desk!

ASplendidMoomin · 22/06/2017 21:24

Hello all. I had my booking in appointment with the midwife today and I was so disappointed, she was awful. I'm going to call the GP tomorrow to change to a different one and also make a complaint. I was really hoping that the first appointment would make it all start to feel a bit more real and comprehensible but it was exactly the opposite. I know the first appointment is mainly just admin but the whole thing was bewildering and depressing. Sorry to sound off, I hope you all have more positive experiences x

Blissfulignorance · 22/06/2017 21:33

@ASplendidMoomin sorry to hear that? What did she say/do? Hopefully there will be someone else who can take over your care.

Thank you Blissful, I think I was just unlucky. Maybe my expectations were too high but I found her dismissive of my anxiety and no good at explaining the whole system or process. Hopefully it will be easy to change. Onwards and upward...

sarahlou311 · 26/06/2017 08:39

The tiredness is kicking my ass and my boobs are huge!

Hi, another first timer, due Feb 10th, dating scan on the 31st!

Seem to have been pretty lucky on the sickness front, but I'm with you TLH - my digestive system does not seem overly happy!

TLH0307 · 19/07/2017 20:14

laelti my dating scan is the 31st too! Hopefully our digestive systems will sort themselves out soon...

HolDaws · 06/08/2017 16:53
