Hello all :) so just found out I am pregnant again :) had an early miscarriage in January and fallen on again, which is amazing. I am very anxious this time around and don't want to get too excited, but can't help myself. I also found being on here last time was actually a great help when it was taken away from me as people are so kind and it helps to talk, so if it does happen again I am in the right place xx anyway happy times now :) eeeeeek. Anymore early Decembers.
If there is already a group tell me and I can join that. X

Anyone else totally exhausted?
I just had a 3 hour nap. I honestly can't believe my exhaustion already.
Yaaaaawn

pauseplayrepeat · 01/04/2017 17:48

Yes, Chamonix! It feels a bit like jet lag. Fell asleep on the sofa 2 hours after getting up and can barely keep my head up. I'll be in bed approx 2 mins after putting my kids to bed tonight as dh is out Smile

ChocolateRaisin · 01/04/2017 18:07

Squirrel I feel the same! It dawned on me earlier that I'm not going to get to enjoy boozey BBQ's with Pimms and prosecco this summer if all goes well. My best friend is pregnant and due in August so I won't be alone for all of it. I obviously really do hope that I have to have a dry summer, I just do enjoy an occasional drink.

Also feeling the tiredness!!

Chamonix1 · 01/04/2017 18:14

Thank goodness I'm not alone so glad you are joining me in my exhaustion mwuahahaha
YY about the drinks too. I've moved on to Sanpellogrino which I do enjoy anyway Smile

imsuchafool12345 · 01/04/2017 18:35

Love to be in bed right now. Instead I've had a woman shout down the phone saying I'm no good at my job as i told her we can't do what she asked -.-

Pixie106 · 01/04/2017 18:48

Grumpy I'm the same here but am drinking kopperberg non alcoholic cider. Tastes just the same and swigging it out of a bottle fools the brain! 😂

MegsMog · 01/04/2017 19:25

chocolate you can have the odd pimms, don't worry - a little bit of booze now and again is fine! Read Emily Oster's "Expecting Better" (would actually massively recommend everyone read this in early pregnancy - it's a clear, evidence-based look at all the recommendations around pregnancy such as can you drink, what foods should you avoid, etc.

Here's the summary of what she has to say about drinking:

Thanks meg!

ChocolateRaisin · 01/04/2017 19:42

Thanks Meg, I'll get that one on my kindle. I definitely won't be drinking at all first trimester, I may have the odd glass if I get beyond that.

I'm definitely more hungry at the moment! Is anyone else feeling like that? I'm not nauseous or anything yet, just hungry!

What is everyone doing exercise wise? I'm aiming to walk at least 10k steps per day and make sure I go over that 4x per week. I'm going to hopefully keep that up for the duration of this pregnancy. I have a 10 month old GSD who NEEDS to walk so it shouldn't be too difficult to achieve I hope!

NaturWilde · 01/04/2017 20:16

Thanks for that MegsMog! Just went and bought it straight away!

I'm doing Mutu, loads of walking when I can, and commuting to work by bike.

imsuchafool12345 · 01/04/2017 22:27

Hows everyone feeling today? I felt sick earlier then it passed but decided to have a doughnut a patient brought me and I'm here trying not to throw it all back up. Why doughnut why?!?!?!?

Zaberwocky · 02/04/2017 08:46

How's everyone doing here this morning? Smile

Chamonix1 · 02/04/2017 09:03

glastogal · 02/04/2017 09:09

Morning all

Good luck today zaber 🍀

I had a good night's sleep but was hit by painful indigestion while I was making an epic cooked breakfast 🐷 luckily it passed and I hoovered my brekkie without problems 👍

imsuchafool12345 · 02/04/2017 09:12

Good luck today zabe

I'm good this morning. Kept waking up as my partner kept sniffling -.- wanted to bop him one on his head xD

WeShouldOpenABar · 02/04/2017 10:12

Thinking of you zabe

The dreams, my God i need a proper sleep

imsuchafool12345 · 02/04/2017 10:22

I know its best to do a test first thing in the morning but with FRER can I get away with testing anytime?

NaturWilde · 02/04/2017 10:34

@imsuchafool12345 yes, you can! Especially if you're close to missed period.

5 weeks tomorrow, which is when the heart starts beating! Still no symptoms...

Good luck @Zaberwocky!

MegsMog · 02/04/2017 10:37

Good luck zaber!

I'm still feeling much the same, crazy dreams, slightly sore boobs, shattered and slightly nauseous but not too bad. With DD I started to feel horrendous around 6 weeks so we shall see. Seeing my PIL for lunch today so think we'll tell them - if I miscarry we'll tell them anyway so we figured we might as well.

imsuchafool12345 · 02/04/2017 10:37

I'm 5 days before I'm meant to have a period. I suffer with pcos so theyre all over the place :( so thats why I keep testing as we dtd around When I was fertile

MegsMog · 02/04/2017 10:38

imsuch yes, I think if you're close to your period's due date / after it you should be fine any time of day!

MegsMog · 02/04/2017 10:39

imsuch x-post. If you're 5 days early I would personally wait until tomorrow morning, or maybe wait a few hours without drinking much?

Zaberwocky · 02/04/2017 10:52

Thank you all! I'm sorry so many of you are having issues sleeping. I'm currently waiting for a taxi 😬 I'll try very hard not to be sick on the driver...
