early weeks :: am i the only one too scared to join ante-natal clubs?

thought i would start an antenatal club for those of us who are less than the "safe" 12 week mark!

hello im natty im only 4 weeks gone and am to scared to tell anyone! my dp is thrilled (once he got over the inital shock)

how is everyone else?

I can't officially join the club but wanted to send my thoughts to you! My ds1 is now 11 weeks and I remember those first twelve weeks soooo well...they were some of the most emotional and terrifying weeks of my life-until the little one came along of course. They seem to take forever to pass...but they will and the middle bit of your pregnancy will be a blur. Enjoy all your free time and do lots of nice things with your dp and best of luck with everything!

Hi NandT, I am 5+6 and feel great, but its the first time for me and I am deliberately avoidign reading too much of the scary stuff just focussing on eating well, resting and keeping healthy as I figure thats the most you can do. Am 34 and alot of my friends have kids already but I have only told my family and plan to keep it that way til 12 weeks if possible to avoid getting too much info from them!! My DH is still in shock and seems likely to remain so for the next 8 months!!

actually 4+6 (see June 2007 club thread for where I got it all confused!!) either way hardest thing is that all of a sudden i can't talk to my friends as its so hard not to tell them!! will have to be a recluse for a while

NattyandTHom- I'm with you!! Just found out yeterday and due 6-6-07.
V scared like you and not telling a soul- except dp!!!- until I have a scan and it shows all is well. I'll be having one at 6-7 weeks due to prev m/c's.
