You normally have your dates changed after a scan but used to only change your due date if its more than a week out. Today I have felt sick and under the weather all day Envy

blimey I don't remember 'morning' sickness kicking in this fast. I should be only about 5 weeks but I feel icky this afternoon, very nauseous and the sore throat I woke up with is not helping. Am sure I was further along when I started feeling rough with the other 2. although I don't actually remember being that bad with ds2, was bad with ds1 but that was exasperated by bad jet lag.
am prob gonna have to start telling people sooner rather than later!

alicebear · 20/06/2013 18:16

Great news with your scan champagne.
I'm not feeling much other than sore & rapidly expanding boobs!
Been feeling a bit worried so have bkd an extra early scan for Wed. If I feel more relaxed by Mon I will cancel it but I just feel like I need reassurance all is ok so far. As my mc last time was at 7wks but only detected at 12wk scan I'm worried my silly body will carry on oblivious if things aren't right.
Hope to report back with positive news next wk - unless I change my mind.
Hope everyone else feeling ok.

Hi, is it ok if I join in? I found out yesterday I am pregnant with #2 after a missed miscarriage in March. it's still very early days, only about 4 weeks and I am a nervous wreck already and could do with somewhere to vent and help keep me sane as we're not planning on telling anyone just yet.

I'll go back and read the rest of the posts now and hopefully catch up with everything so I can join in and chat?

Oh and congratulations to everyone on their bfp Flowers

mrscookie78 · 21/06/2013 08:52

Oh no Flojo, i feel really sick too if that helps? Smile normally from about 5 minutes after i wake up!

You need to do what you feel is right for you Alice tbh, it must be hard for you. Just try not to stress!!

Welcome notsosuper and congratulations, sorry to hear about your mc, hope you have a sticky bean this time and feel ok!

I'm ok when i'm eating so i eat most of the day but it comes back as soon as i stop eating, very weird and yuck!

mornings aren't quite so bad but yesterday avo and eve if I so much as moved I felt as if I was going to throw up. feeling a little rough today but am sure that will ramp up as the day goes on.
glad everything was ok at your scan champagne. still debating wether we can afford an early scan.

alicebear · 21/06/2013 18:16

Weird but I'm feeling more positive today & after a bit of googling have cancelled next wk scan.
Think 6 wks can sometimes be a bit early to be sure how things are going & I think any uncertainty would make me fret even more. So taking the ignorance I'd bliss approach & counting down the next 3 wks to my 8.5 wk scan.

Hope people not feeling too sick. My sickness in past pgs has been 6-9 wks so could be round the corner. Whilst it's horrible it is reassuring too. So hoping to feel rotten soon! Have gd weekends everyone.

Beautytobe · 21/06/2013 19:51

I have no symtoms anymore apart from rock hard tender boobs! Tho I feel like am having a constant fat day! Am about 6 weeks and I have gained 3lbs without eating more or anything I wasn't mentally ready for this x

Glad your feeling more positive Alice Grin

ha ha all normal and it will get worse, I think with your first pregnancy its a shock having these hormones as you have never felt soon teary over nothing Smile I broke down in m&s as there was no one to fit my bra last pregnancy, very embarrassing.

Have you tried mocha coffees? they are just lush and help me out a treat, just need to work out how Costa make them now Wink

I still feel rough and feel sick, oh well Envy

How has everyone's weekend been? we had fil over to stay which has been nice for him to see his grandchild.

we.ve had a manic weekend which is prob why I feel so bad today! not actually thrown up yet but am feeling very nausceous and nearly through up into my lunchbox at work as I opened it and the smell of my sandwiches hit me Hmm. had to tell manager at work so as work understand if I have to suddenly disappear! Would just like to fast forward a couple of weeks to get this sickness out of the way!

Halfling · 24/06/2013 20:57

Latecomer to this thread! Discovered my pregnancy 2 days back and walking in a daze since - due date end of Feb.

Keeping my fingers crossed for the first set of symptoms to kick in, as I had hypermesis gravidum last time.
