So I finally get what you all mean about weird dreams. I had a cracker last night. Very weird hot sex dream about Arnold Schwarzenegger. Where do we keep the mind bleach?

honey86 · 04/03/2013 08:20

totally with you in the wallowing in the sea... i get really huge bumps so ill be like a sea whale BlushGrin

getoffthecoffeetable · 04/03/2013 10:24

Look after yourself Suffolk, hope you're feeling better soon.
fairy you might be better off letting work know sooner rather than later if you're finding it tough. You'll never be more protected legally than you are when you're pregnant, but only if they know about it.

Fairydogmother · 04/03/2013 10:34

my manager does know about it!

i've had an issue with her since i moved here last may - just not a nice person and shes always nit picking etc. i am also excluded from conversations etc in work and its getting me down. trying to find another job!

SterlingS · 04/03/2013 11:58

deep breath

Hi everyone, I got my BFP last week - due date is Nov 1, so I'm 5+6 or thereabouts, got my midwife appointment booked, other half is wildly excited (it's our first - we hadn't even really started trying yet) but I'm just too tired to think about it. Started feeling sicky this morning and feeling a bit emotional today - which is out of character for me...any tips on combating the tiredness??

Fairydogmother · 04/03/2013 12:00

hi there and congrats!

this is my first too Smile

not sure what might help tiredness apart from rest but interested to hear what others suggest!

RubyWindsor · 04/03/2013 12:08

Congratulations sterling!

Also my first!

I will be watching with interest of ways to combat fatigue as all I want to do is sleep sleep sleep and sleep!!

MTB82 · 04/03/2013 12:47

Me too. First day teaching since I found out and since the tiredness really kicked in and I just don't want to be here. Sad

Fairydogmother · 04/03/2013 12:54

according to one horrible person in my work 'pregnancy isnt an illness you know'. she doesnt know i'm pg but seriously what a nasty thing to say!

it affects everyone differently and whilst nobody is looking for special treatment it does mean that your capacity to concentrate etc may change!

SterlingS · 04/03/2013 12:54

I nearly fell asleep on the train on the way to work this morning! Not planning on telling work for a while yet - everyone thinks I have a bug or something (which isn't far off how I feel tbh)

this woman has one horrid bratty teenager and according to her she never 'complained' and just had to get on with things when she was pg.

she certainly makes up for the complaining now tho lol - she never stops

a complete mood hoover!

as you can probably tell i'm desperate to move jobs!

SaBearOz · 04/03/2013 13:01

Hi everyone, BFP taken 2 days okay and 5 weeks gone, due 4th Nov. This is baby 2, DS 13 months.
I think I am still in shock that we got lucky in the 1st month again.
Have had a virus for the last week and couldn't understand why I couldn't budge it- now it all falls into place.

Theicingontop · 04/03/2013 13:02

That really irritates me, Fairydog, I hate it when people say that.

If you threw up several times a day and was exhausted from sun-up to sun-down and wasn't pregnant, you'd most definitely be classified as ill. But because you're pregnant, you have to suck it up because being pregnant is 'not an illness'. Of course it's not, it's pregnancy, but that doesn't mean it's any less difficult or worthy of some sensitivity.

People saying this really makes me Angry.

Theicingontop · 04/03/2013 13:03

Cross post suffolk Grin

Fairydogmother · 04/03/2013 13:04

I wonder what she'll say when I do tell people in work?! Though I dont discuss my medical history so she's bound to wonder why I have so many hospital and GP appts!

Hi there SaBearOz! congrats

Theicingontop · 04/03/2013 13:12

Congratulations SaBearOz, same due date as me :)

Hi all and welcome to the newbies.

suff I know how you feel with the fainting I fainted last night whilst in the shower but I am easy fainter anyway without all these pregnancy hormones, I fainted quite regularly while pregnant with my other two.

icing having weird sexual dreams here too, either about Robert Pattinson or Marshall Mathers Blush

Is feeling slightly better today I actually got a full nights sleep so that probably is helping.
I have a doctor's appointment in the morning to discuss my blood test results, am hoping it's good news as I don't want to go back on iron tablets.

4+6?x

Theicingontop · 04/03/2013 15:47

At least the objects of your dreams are good looking! OH was in stitches when I told him Blush

Hope everything goes well with your results Ditty.
