mini28 · 20/02/2013 14:42

So sorry to hear that strawberry. Thinking of you x

Umlauf · 20/02/2013 14:42

Welcome cookie looks like your edd means this bus is filling up! What a thought!

Reading people's experiences of mc and mmc on this and other threads really hammers it home how frequently it happens and to many people. It's terrifying really and such a toll on the emotions. Sending Thanks to you all and lots of hope for these subsequent pregnancies.

I'm really bored. I wish the appointments would start. Have bloods and urine in 1.5 weeks when Ill be 10 weeks, if they flag up any problems do you normally find out straight away?

Rockchick1984 · 20/02/2013 14:42

Welcome Crookie!

So sorry Strawberry - I'd definitely ring EPU if the bleeding has got a lot worse. Sending hugs your way.

I've been having painful cramping last night and this morning Sad been to the Dr who thinks its nothing to worry about but has referred me to EPU tomorrow, it's not like the stretching cramps I've been getting, they are actually quite sharp. Hoping desperately that everything is ok...

1500mmania · 20/02/2013 14:53

Hi everyone can I join? I am due 11th October and I've already got DS who is 16 months - absolutely terrified at the prospect of having two! I've had an ectopic in the past so i've already had an early scan to make sure it was in the right place - another scan next week - hoping there is heartbeat x

Sal1977 · 20/02/2013 15:28

Crookie - your DD is 30yrs old? Or 30 months? Haha...that's an amazing age gap if its years!! Xxx

LandsN · 20/02/2013 15:35

I read that totally different lol thought it meant due date 30 oct but a 30 year age gap is a long time, my friend who had 6 children told me yesterday she thinks I am mad as I have got a 9 year age gap if everything goes to plan x

cazboldy · 20/02/2013 15:36

so sorry strawberry - fingers crossed for you.

I had a little bit of brown spotting last night, and have a kind of dull ache down low in my tummy - not cramps, it's there all the time. Was bad enough tow ake me at 2.30 am Sad

I'm really worried, never had this in any of my previous pg. All feelings of queasiness also disappeared. Just have this feeling that something's not quite right, but don't really know what to do......

I have just kind of gotten my head round having another, and now i'm really scared it's not meant to be Sad

Am i being over the top?

LandsN · 20/02/2013 15:44

No way over the top I would be worried too I would call your midwife and just get checked it can't do any harm I would also rest as much a poss it probably nothing but best to be safe hope all is well xx

moonblues · 20/02/2013 16:03

So sorry to hear your news strawberry

Hope you're feeling better caz. Why don't you give your midwife/EPU a ring and see what they say.

Welcome to all the new ladies on the thread.

sambrads · 20/02/2013 16:11

hello ladies can i join?

this will be my 4th DC i have DS6 DD4 and DD7months.
I have no idea how far i am as my last AF was 10th Jan but have had BFN right up until today I felt a bit sick and done a test this morning and BFP Grin I am over the moon couldnt work out why my AF wasnt showing her ugly face but still getting BFN.
how would you date ur pregnancy if you were me?

Wispa123 · 20/02/2013 17:01

Hello ladies! Wow what a lovely thread! You are all very chatty and it's great to discover that I am no alone in early sysmptoms - sore boobs (athough less today than the last 2 weeks thank god!), bloatedness and constant sicky feeling that's hit me hard today. Spent ages wondering around Asda looking for things I culd possibly eat and came up with Pom bears of all things! I keep craving salt and although they don't have much they taste like they do so I'm hoping they will do the trick! So glad I'm off work this week as not sleeping too well. I keep reminding myself that feeling crap is actually a good thing asit hopefully means my body is doing all the right things!

I'm 7+4 with DC1 (is that the right code?! haha!). All still feels very scary and terrified it might all go wrong...roll on 12 weeks! also have first app next week with midwife (no GP referral, is that normal?)

It's all very reassurig to know that there are lovely people on here to share experiences with! Congratulations to everyone!

bluesnowfalcon · 20/02/2013 17:21

Hi all!

Great to find this thread as it gives people to talk to! I've had 3 bfp's on home tests but a negative on GP test so now waiting for the results of a second gp test!

I've got ds who will be 3 at the end of June and this one was sort of planned but caught really quickly after coil came out (like next day I think) so it was a bit quicker than we thought.

Going on online due date calculators this bump will be due about 16th October so I thought I'd join you ladies to have people to talk to who are going through same stuff! Symptoms wise got really sore boobs, naeusea on and off and a constant need to pee. Also think I had implantation bleed on 4th and 5th on Feb. Now on half term which is fab as I work full time as a primary teacher in a reception class so needed a break as was exhausted at the end of last week.

Anyway enough gab from me - hope to catch up on all the posts soon xxx

JellyCurls · 20/02/2013 17:34

Oh I feel grim. Have been sick 4 times so far today and almost sicked a further 5 or 6 times. Also seriously need a cure for constipation Blush have tried water, fruit juice, loads of fruit, exercise and nothing is working. Do you think syrup of figs is ok to take?

Forgot about all these first trimester ails, all cures welcome

Haylebop12 · 20/02/2013 17:42

Gosh your all so chatty!

Saw gp yesterday who prescribes me anti sickness. With my history for it I didn't have to beg too hard. Feeling slightly human now as not been sick since yesterday although still incredibly nauseas. Also have had a lot of thick yellow/white discharge yday and today and read its common but has anyone else has this? I'm 6+4.

strawberry so sorry to hear your concerns. Praying everything's ok.

Haylebop12 · 20/02/2013 17:45

6+2 sorry!

Sal1977 · 20/02/2013 17:48

LandsN - haha, I'm such a knob, just re-read it and of course it's 'due date 30th October' not my darling daughter is 30 in October!! FFS...haha!!

What's with all the cramping and spotting ladies? I'm going in for my early scan tomorrow to see if its a duffer or if the bean is still attached to the string! Fingers crossed its all still ok and the spotting was nothing horrid!

It's blinking horrible though when its happening, I'm on constant knicker watch and permanently feel like AF has just crept up on me!!

LandsN · 20/02/2013 18:03

I am so para and am thinking of booking myself in this week just to see if all looks ok last time I had bleeding round the sack which they said was nothing but I am not convinced I just feel like the days are in slow motion I got 3 weeks till I am at that dreaded stage and panicking already :( x

LandsN · 20/02/2013 18:05

And sal lol I had to read it a couple of times lmao how far are u I am 5 weeks Friday do u think they will do a scan or am I just wasting my time x

TheFalconsmistress · 20/02/2013 18:16

Welcome newbies Smile

I have been feeling much less sick which naturally has me worried. I vomited this morning and was a little nauseas for 2 hours but then nothing also not had any sore boobs at all. I am constipated still though.

landN try not worry hun xxx

Just bracing my self for my scan on friday Sad

OP posts:
Sal1977 · 20/02/2013 18:31

LandsN- I'm 6+4 today and having scan tomorrow as I had some spotting on Saturday. My doctor said that there's no point scanning before 6 weeks as there isn't much to see before then. I think I am prepared for the worst, but it will still be pretty shit if its a duffer.

Why do you feel you need an early scan? Have you had any spotting or bad cramps or pains? Xx

Crookie1 · 20/02/2013 18:35

Thanks for the welcomes!

I'm getting concerned because I am getting quite bad pain or discomfort on my left hand side very near my hip. I am 4 weeks today and was wondering if any of you ladies have experienced anything similar?

I hope everything goes well for the other concerned people out there x

Sal1977 · 20/02/2013 18:40

I read somewhere that you should take some paracetamol and if that doesn't help the pain, give the dr a call. Also if you have shoulder tip pain (where your arm meets your shoulder) defo call the dr as that could be a sign of eptopic.
I had pains similar to ovulation pains (quite stabby) at 4 weeks which went away in a few days.
Don't panic and try to relax...have a nice bath as that will relax your muscles as well. Xxxx

roofio87 · 20/02/2013 18:42

hi everyone and welcome to all our new ladies!!
sorry there seems to be a lot of worrying going on at the moment. hope everyone is doing alright and those waiting scans etc get good results!!
everything is ticking over ok here, still feeling exhausted and nauseous but glad of it really and no bad signs!!
7+1 today so slowly getting there!! first mw app 2 weeks today!!Smile

Crookie1 · 20/02/2013 18:51

Thanks Sal, no shoulder pains so that's good, think I will just be a bit neurotic until 12 weeks, hard not to after previous MC I think!

Good luck to everyone :)

Sal1977 · 20/02/2013 18:52

It's wierd isn't it that its all kicking off suddenly?! apparantly tge largest number if problems arise between 6 and 8 weeks which is where we're at i guess! Problem is it starts everyone else worrying, especially the lack of symptoms thing. In the real world we'd all be quite smug about no morning sickness on here if someone says that they've been told that all your toenails falling out is a guarantee of a healthy baby, we're all willing our toenails to fall out!!! Haha
