So, so sorry to hear the news from delilah and Strawberry.

I want to have a nap. I haven't really felt tired before, despite awful insomnia. I'm 5+1. Anyone else? Zzzzzz.

cuillereasoupe · 21/02/2013 15:35

Yes, me, I'm exhausted. Probably partly due to an early start and less tea than usual as much as anything. Thankfully I'm working from home this afternoon so I'm off to catch some zeds.

cuillereasoupe · 21/02/2013 15:37

Also Grin at GettingObsessive. I'm learning a wind instrument so I reckon my breathing technique should be world class by October.

Smitten1981 · 21/02/2013 15:40

Hi everyone

I'm 5+5, I think I'm due on October 19 (according to my apps). The only symptoms I'm having are really sore boobs, they even hurt when I walk and I feel sick as soon as I wake up but am ok for the rest of the day.

I kind of feel a bit snappy too, worried this will get worse as time goes on - sigh!

So far so good though...

It's nice to have somewhere you can talk about things, as no one really knows yet apart from our parents. xx

Sorry delilah to hear your news - hope it is not too awful and that you get another bfp soon Thanks

bluesnowfalcon · 21/02/2013 16:05

It terms of me today I feel like crap but that would be because I was up from 4am with dodgy belly and throwing up - not pleasent. So tired definately but thanking small mercies that my ds has been an angel today just happy to play and keep poking me on the sofa asking if I feel better yet!

cuillereasoupe and euro i'm contantly exhausted too - think that is probably main sypmtom here! Got sore boobs but bearable but the tiredness is almost draining me right out.

pinkmoonlight · 21/02/2013 16:13

Exhausted here too and I'm not even at work this week. Just fell asleep on the sofa unintentionally and woke with a start as I'm meant to be tidying up! This whole creating another human thing is v tiring Grin

ChocoFrog · 21/02/2013 17:13

Hi everyone, can I jump on the bus too?

I'm 5+1 and due on Oct 23rd. I'm 36 and have a 3yo DS who will be 4 before this one arrives. Had an ectopic last September which led to surgery and I can't quite relax about this one till I've had a scan to check it's in the right place. Might get an early scan but when I saw dr yesterday she seemed in no hurry.

Not told anyone else yet so is nice to have some lovely ladies I can share any worries with x

roxvox · 21/02/2013 17:14

I am with you guys on the tiredness (am 7+2). I feel so utterly exhausted that I seem to be counting down the seconds to 5.30 so I can go home and sleep! I've been like it all day. I went to the loo one of MANY wee trips today in the office toilets and I swear I could've fallen asleep right there. In fact I may actually be asleep on the loo and dreaming I'm typing this.

After my nap I will update you all on my first MW visit yesterday.

Haylebop12 · 21/02/2013 17:25

Hi guys, hope everyone's ok. So sorry to hear your news Delilah.

Been signed off work for 3 weeks with vomiting and being admitted just now so on my way to GAU to get some fluids in me. Last time this happened I felt a lot better once I was discharged so I'm seeing it as a possitive. Like the doc said my kidneys won't be functioning properly and during pregnancy you need them to. Will prob be on a lot today to keep myself occupied.

roofio87 · 21/02/2013 17:30

Aww Hayleybop sorry you're feeling so rough!! but you're right, you're in the right place now and can get all the fluids and care you need. fingers crossed u get everything sorted asap!!

I'm feeling very sleepy too. I work 3 evenings a week in a very busy youth club and that is killing me at the moment!! but hay ho, all worth it!!

jealous of all you ladies who have seen your beans and their heartbeats, I can't wait till my 12 week scan!!Smile

Haylebop12 · 21/02/2013 17:38

roofio IME I don't see an early scan as a good thing. Was admitted previously and had scan at 7+4, good hb etc. got to twelve week scan to be told mmc.

Not sure what to so if they offer me one this time... I'm only 6+3. Should a hb be visible at this early gestation?

roofio87 · 21/02/2013 17:44

yeah Hayleybop I agree, I wouldn't want an early scan either really. I'm happy to wait the time and hopefully get a good solid scan at 12 weeks!! I'm sure it must be very hard for you after a mmc, but it seems like you have a great mind set about it!!Smile

LandsN · 21/02/2013 17:48

I had a scan last time at 6+3 and they saw a slow heart beat but they did say it would have only just started beating x

Haylebop12 · 21/02/2013 18:04

Did that pregnancy go on I be ok LandN?

TheFalconsmistress · 21/02/2013 18:08

I was not going to get a scan especially internal has a small risk associated with it, even mw said but im going crazy with worry so going for scan although should be abdominal as I should be 8 weeks tomorrow. Wether it actually reduces my worry remains to be seen xx

OP posts:
bluesnowfalcon · 21/02/2013 18:12

I had early scans with my ds at 8 weeks and 10 weeks as I bled a bit with him although they couldn't find any reason for it. He will be 3years old at the end of June!

Hoping that I won't have that worry this time although it was nice to see him in there early on! At 8 weeks he kinda looked like a mouse and at 10 had a big head in proportion to the rest. By 12 weeks it had all evened out a little.

As I'm 6+1 I'm have way to first landmark and have jsut thrown up a dry cracker and then fancied a bowl of chips which so far are staying down - think morning/evening sickness has now arrived here too Grin

LandsN · 21/02/2013 18:15

Unfortunately not but I don't get past 9 weeks have not the last 3 times but had early scans with my 2 dc's and they are perfect x

ChocoFrog · 21/02/2013 19:30

I'm not too fussed about having the early scan either as think I'll end up worrying more! I'm just hoping that as I have none of the symptoms I had with my ectopic it's all going well. Having said that, apart from sore boobs, I don't have any other symptoms at all. Not that I wish for the nausea I had the first time round but it would at least convince me it was all real. Smile

LandsN · 21/02/2013 19:37

That's how I feel choco I feel a bit like I am making it all up or the 4 test I done were wrong as I have no symptoms think that's why I feel a bit paranoid silly eh x

ChocoFrog · 21/02/2013 19:48

Smile That's exactly how I feel LandsN. Like what if I'm just imagining it all and the tests were faulty etc. But then who would wish for feeling sick and knackered? Just in limbo at the mo wanting to be excited but not wanting to get ahead of myself either. Thought I worried lots the first time round but was blissfully ignorant of most things then. Knowledge is not helpful for your sanity!

LandsN · 21/02/2013 20:10

Definitely not i read things then think I wish I hadn't but sill read more its a bit like a obsession ATM lol x

So sorry Delilah and still keeping fingers crossed for everyone else as seems to be lots of sickness and stress - so hard not to worry isn't it. Was not going to tell people but will have to tell mum friends as I keep rushing off and don't want them to think I am sick and may pass bugs to their LO. There is also a lot of chicken pox and scarlet feaver doing the rounds here so want to avoid that if poss.
