Hi Stacey - there is a stats thread about somewhere that you can add yourself to Smile

I'm heading back to hospital as soon as I can find a lift. About to start sending begging texts. Still fitting in my size 8 jeans despite the hint of a bump. I guess that is what the half stone weight loss caused by hyperemesis will do! So, may be a while before I get onto maternity clothes shopping, although I did order a couple of new bras which should arrive next week.

I'm definitely feeling movements now which is lovely.

Whats a stats thread? Sorry I'm new lol.

RuckAndRoll · 09/02/2013 12:39

Stats Thread I've just updated it myself. Stacey, it just keeps track of who's here and when their due date is. Add yourself on Smile

Wondering if I need to move my next midwife appointment now my dates have been changed. It'll be at 18+2 now and the list says it should be 15-17 weeks. Will give the midwife a call on Monday and see what she says. Hoping to go back to work on Thursday but I don't feel safe to drive so can't go to see the client, boss won't be happy.

Still on a high today after seeing our little one yesterday for the first time.

waves hospital is the best place for you, go easy on yourself. If you can't get a lift, phone NHS24 and they can send non-emergency patient transport to collect you.

Sorry to everyone else who's struggling, you're all so strong.

wavesandsmiles · 09/02/2013 12:40

There's actually to it in the first message of this thread - it is where we put who we are, when we are due and if we have any other children Smile

FoofFighter · 09/02/2013 12:43

Just where you can enter your due date etc if you want, there's a link in the very first post on this fred :) Welcome!

I've got an old swinging crib stashed away at my exH house that I totally forgot about, planning (if it's still there!) to refurb it, it is dark wood, but I want to paint it a lovely cream :)

Almost bought a mamas and papas ultima system today, charity shop in town has the grey/black checked fabric one, the whole kit inc the carrycot stand, for £80 :o but then the GPs are buying the pram that we already chose (obaby zezu) and the way things are looking financially for us just now (just lost £300 a month ouch) it'll be the only new thing the poor mite gets, so left it.

Not much planned here, trying to gut the house and then chinese takeaway later and supposed to be going to the pub as it's a friend of our's birthday but I might not make it that far!

stacey212528 · 09/02/2013 13:15

Thanks everyone! (: Have updated the stats thread no as well. The obaby zezu is the pram I've picked as well! Also can anyone help? Do I book my 16 week appointment or does the midwife contact me? :S forst timer, can you tell?

Jollymummy2 · 09/02/2013 13:17

Well it's all fun fun fun in the "jolly" house today!!
Trying to do a mega house tidy as we have a house viewing tomorrow Shock
Unfortunately my nausea has kicked back in, and I have an emotional/clingy 2yr old a stroppy 5yr old and a hormonal 13yr old! Oh yeah and DH is in a foul mood!!
Looking forward to DH going out this evening and wallowing in a bubble bath with a trashy book Grin

Hope you are all having a good day

FoofFighter · 09/02/2013 13:45

Have you had your booking in appointment yetstacey? Mine next appointment was made when I was there but I suppose each area is different. What colour pram did you pick? I like the lime green, he likes the red, so we are going for the black LOL

Jollymummy, strange you say about nausea coming back, mine has too, the last three days, late afternoon/early evening just like before, yeuch. At least it's not actual being sick for me anyway.

I really like the lime. But don't know if its unisex enough? Yeah had my 12 week scan and booking appointment but it wasn't mentioned. Only noticed when I looked at my notes.

Silver15 · 09/02/2013 15:17

Hello ladies,

Just marking my place on the new thread. I haven't posted in a while but all is ok.

Welcome Stacey.

FoofFighter · 09/02/2013 16:35

I'd give them a call then Stacey. I had a play with a lime one in Kiddiecare and it was a lot lighter than it looked on the net, loved it though and definitely unisex :)

hello Silver, you keeping well?

stacey212528 · 09/02/2013 16:40

need to find a local stockist they all seem to be online. Need to have a play with one. Glad to hear it though cause I really liked the lime. Yeah will give them a ring.

Abilee90 · 09/02/2013 17:45

Stacey if you in essex at lakeside we have a huge kiddicare. They have it in there. Also due the 6th :)

Dh has become even more nasty and i've spent the last 3 nights crying.
Took dd to a soft play area today with adopted mum and the other 2 grankids which was lovely, tho crawling round a play area has knocked me out but dd loved it and she also cut to more teeth with out me knowing. So tooth count is up to 11 :) bless her.

Kidney infection has gone yay :) but now got cramping, so got worried and checked bean was ok. Lovely strong heart beat silly mummy. I forgot the worry of it all.

Waves hope hosp can sort you out.

I havent put any weight on and no bump :( at 14 weeks 4 days i thought i would be showing by now. 2 weeks til private and i cant wait.

Xxx

Mrsd77 · 09/02/2013 17:52

Hello all! Marking my place too!

Nothing much to report. Still waiting for NT results but assuming that as its been over a week, everything is ok. Now in process of planning DS' big boy bedroom!

Nausea now comes and goes but still ever so tired. Midwife appointment on Friday.

Hello to Stacey and sorry waves and mayan are having a tough time of it.

15+2

LittleMissSnowShine · 09/02/2013 18:04

Blinking through my sore red eyes to catch up on today's posts hee

foo - also a fan of black as a pram colour, so easy to wipe down and goes with lots of colours of fleecy blankets :)

Hi to stacey

Hope everyone is well, looking forward to some pasta and a lazy night in front of tv!

stacey212528 · 09/02/2013 18:28

No where near Essex unfortunately :( though I would love to be! Thanks for the welcomes ladies! X

beckie90 · 09/02/2013 18:31

abi poor you :( so sorry he's been so cold. I've lost weight and not showing, other than abit of bloatedness now and again, was really bloated till recently and its just all gone now lol. But tbf bumps with both kids have never been too big I looked about 4 month gone at full term, I like it that way Haha.

Well my DP step-dad really did make me mad today, my grandfather has incurable cancer, chemo shrank it but didnt get rid of it and they cant operate cause its too dangerous, he's gotta go for a brain scan cause he's been getting headaches for a few month now, so I mentioned it to MIL and DP's stepdad and his reply was well your lucky to have grandparents at your age though (im 22) I was like are you serious my grandads only 63, my nan was young when she had mum and mum was 21 when she had me, so my nan and grandad were 40/41 when I was born, felt really insulted with what he said. I know I'm lucky to have my grandparents, but still think it was a pretty horrible insensative thing to say. Sorry for ranting :(

stacey212528 · 09/02/2013 18:39

Snap Beckie! 22 here. Not a nice thing to say, sorry to hear about your grandad. My grans in the hospital at the moment, so have an idea of how your feeling. X

beckie90 · 09/02/2013 18:47

Thankyou stacey sorry to hear about your gran, hope she's ok. how's your pregnancy going so far? is this your first baby? I have got a lime and black pram, I think lime is pretty good for both :)

Xxx

stacey212528 · 09/02/2013 19:29

Yeah, she's getting there slowly. So hopefully things are on the up. I'm better now than I was had pretty bad sickness and a bit of bleeding. But new medication and no more scares so fingers crossed! (: I really like the lime. Bit different without being completely out there! What pram have you got?

beckie90 · 09/02/2013 19:34

I've had to get a double but I got a Phil and teds one. My youngest had a lime green Lunamix though when he turned 1 and loved the colour, only downside it attracted midges haha. Aww bless you, I had some bleeding too, its so scary xxx

stacey212528 · 09/02/2013 19:44

My mum said about midgies! Lol. Aw this is my first. Don't know where to start! Lol. Xx

beckie90 · 09/02/2013 19:49

It all comes don't worry, this is my 3rd have 2 lil boys, oldest will be nearly 5 when babys born an youngest nearly 2 and half and I still have a panic that I've forgot everything lol xx

FoofFighter · 09/02/2013 20:17

Just as well we aren't going for the lime then if it attracts the midges, we live in Scotland!
