Sorry to hear your bad news Purple and OLTT.

Creamtea1, you sound a lot like me - I also did low carb (strict) last year and lost about 3 stone. When I found out I was pregnant, my first thought was that I would pile the weight back on... I had about 3 more to lose!

I did try to continue to eat low carb but I quickly found I was far too nauseous. I'm also vegetarian so my protein sources are very limited... and I can't face anything to do with eggs at the moment. Fairly sure it's better to eat bread and not feel sick than to eat nothing and feel awful.

Anyone else struggling with symptoms today? I'm finding sitting down really uncomfortable (poss due to increase blood flow down below. Keep having really vivid dreams/nitemares (this morn I fell back to sleep after hubby left for work and was convinced I could hear women's voices on the stairs but I felt completely paralysed I my bed & unable to speak...very strange). I also seem to have afternoon sickness....morning was fine but nausea has now hit big time!

fl0b0t · 21/01/2013 12:32

Also suffering afternoon sickness (starts about 11am right through til bed time- though only feeling sick, not been sick at all yet) and had a dream about having twins!

SIL coming to stay with baby in May, and I'm looking forwards to telling her that she doesn't need to bring some of the things she was worried about bringing as we'll have out own by then! :)

SaggyOldPregnantCatpuss · 21/01/2013 12:34

Mine arent too bad. Sore norkage, a little nausea, the constipation is the worst!

Readytosettle · 21/01/2013 12:39

I've got a dreadful gut as well, but I've suffered with IBS for years so that's not so strange for me. Boobs are sore, but just the same as pre-AF really. Have switched to a nice soft sports bra today & it's bliss!

Eeeknumber3 · 21/01/2013 13:09

I've got foul nausea today, just eaten loads with the kids at lunchtime, as eating seems to stave it off. They're both off school due to the snow, we have 28cms! Finding it hard going entertaining them today, as just knacked. Is anyone else suffering from extreme tiredness? Don't remember ever feeling this tired before!

LotsaTuddles · 21/01/2013 13:19

Got my booking in appt on 15th feb. don't think I can wait that long.

I can't believe I was wishing to feel sick. I can't seem to keep anything down for longer than half an hour

CrikeeThree · 21/01/2013 13:27

Same. Feeling soooo crap.
Tired and nauseous.
Been sick the last few days.
Felt so sick, I couldn't sleep last night.

Roll on 12 weeks.....

jennimoo · 21/01/2013 13:37

I'm feeling pretty rough too and the last two nights have woken in the morning feeling so bad I thought I'd got DDs vomiting bug!

SaggyOldPregnantCatpuss · 21/01/2013 13:41

Im worried again now. Im not feeling too bad! apart from farting for england mind you, judging by my last 2 pregnancies, this could just be because baby is male! sick as a parrot with dd!

LexyMa · 21/01/2013 13:42

anyone read this? it seems our watford group isn't just a MN bubble but a known hotspot of the rising uk birth rate! Is anyone else in one of the notably fecund areas they mention?

jm233 · 21/01/2013 13:50

I am still living for taramasalata... I don't know what's in it but its the only thing I want! Felt my eyes well up a touch when got to the shop and they were out! Probably for the best.

My dreams have been so strange and disturbing! Last night I dreamt DH had a huge sapphire instead of a belly button. Night before- a friend having a sex change Confused
