Ps happy birthday strawberry DD Grin

Clarella · 17/11/2012 19:14

Thats great strawb! Though i would also need that very cute dog for oxyticin....

Hope you had a fun day with DD!

Secondsop · 17/11/2012 20:05

strawberry hope your daughter had a lovely birthday. She shares it with my mum x

kate2boysandabump · 17/11/2012 20:18

I've been out all day looking at cars and now I'm exhausted. Have been out to bed by DH and have had my tea brought to me in bed by my lovely boys. Think we may have found a car too. Just have to hope we get it before the baby comes.

I get BH all the time, especially when I do too much and always after going up and down the stairs. My baby is forever sticking his bum out too, very much like ds2. If he sticks out too far I prod him back Grin It's good he knows that Mommy is in charge Wink

Strawberry Happy Birthday to your dd

Seconds You were very brave to tackle an NCT sale Grin about your mum and DH. My dad used to decorate with my mum's mum and they were just the same.

Chocolate does not belong in the fridge, it gets that white powdery stuff on if it gets too cold. All wrong. Yes DH, I'm talking to you, get my chocolate out of the fridge!!!

StrawberrytallCAKE · 17/11/2012 20:41

Thanks everyone! Kate I was hoping she would share a birthday with this one but it's not to be.

Clarella I was wondering whether cuddling dd might give me enough oxytocin so she sat on my lap when I was on the ball earlier. Looking at pictures of puppies may also work?

kate2boysandabump · 17/11/2012 20:43

Strawberry There are 2 days between my boys birthday's. I went into labour the day after ds1's 2nd birthday. What are you doing tomorrow? Grin

Clarella · 17/11/2012 20:55

Aw probably strawb :-) thats very sweet. I wonder if anyone has done a study on (cute well behaved) pets and labour - they have on the effects of having a dog and likelyhood of a recurrent heart attack following the first one - its something silly like a reduction of 400% if you have a dog due to the oxytocin.

Clarella · 17/11/2012 20:58

I am horrified. Dh has placed a bar of cadburies in the fridge. It must be a mistake. I thought he was much better trained than that...

EggsMichelle · 17/11/2012 21:17

Unfortunately I know my cats and dog too well to find any of them cute, they are evil or dirty! But I am hopefully going to see my 3wk old niece tomorrow, maybe that will get some hormones going?

Bellaboo123 · 17/11/2012 21:46

EPU question please...I'm posed with epu in hand but how many do I insert? Do I take some orally too? I've got 500mg capsules and am 36w +5

Sorry I know someone posted a link about it but I'm on my phone!

Walnut8 · 17/11/2012 22:03

Contractions have eased but just had a show with a streak of blood here .... [faints] ... Time to pack hospital bag

Bellaboo123 · 17/11/2012 22:05

Oooh walnut It could be your turn!!!! Keep us posted! Grin

Secondsop · 17/11/2012 22:05

emilyeggs · 17/11/2012 22:14

Clarella · 17/11/2012 22:19

Wooohoo walnut!!!! exciting!!

Clarella · 17/11/2012 22:22

Bella from what i understand start by inserting one into down there at night till 38 wks then 2, not sure about taking orally but maybe just one tbh. But would like more knowledgeable peeps to confirm!

brooke89 · 17/11/2012 22:30

Ooo walnut how exciting!

utopian99 · 17/11/2012 22:32

Think that's what I'd read too, on one of the childbirth threads some time ago so i might be hazy..

walnut eek! Crossing everything for you!

Cookiesandcoffee · 17/11/2012 22:47

Quick excited post!! Eeek walnut ! Get packing, things are on the move Grin

MyDaydream · 17/11/2012 22:58

walnut how exciting. Will it be you next, or has anyone heard from COD wasn't she having twinges last night? I get the feeling everyone will have their babies and I'll still be here in January! My friend has probably cursed me in buying the (very cute) my first Christmas T-shirt.
Not looking forward to the EPO insertion, not even sure I can reach up there anymore. Still got a few more weeks to figure out the logistics I guess.
DP trusted me with his bank card today and I did an awfully boring final shop for bedding and bibs. Apart from nappies (which I'll get delivered) and final hospital bag touches I think I'm done.

WeeJo08 · 17/11/2012 22:59

Eeeee! Go Walnut!!

Cookiesandcoffee · 17/11/2012 23:10

Was also wondering about COD
We have been all this time without a second .. Maybe these Dec babies are like buses, and all going to come at once?!

CODwidow · 17/11/2012 23:46

Just wrote a huge load and it wouldn't post grr!
I'm still here everyone and still getting pains but v.mild so have a feeling this could go on weeks!
Good signs walnut I think your next Grin

StrawberrytallCAKE · 18/11/2012 00:47

Good luck walnut Smile

PurplePidjin · 18/11/2012 02:36

Looks like Walnut and i are having a race!

My waters went at 10pm, rang the ward who asked me in, mild contractions started in the car. I'm now home till things get stronger with induction booked for 7:30 Monday morning just in case :o

Word of advice: take spare trousers!
