So it is Smegs tonight Xmas Grin are you next Nut? or is it Stacks?

Biscuitsandtinsel · 04/12/2012 16:20

Good luck Smegs - hope it all happens for you this time!

Think stacks is next - she mentioned being due on the 9th which must make her more than 37 weeks? But we could feasibly have 3 more brooking babies this side of Christmas! How exciting! Grin

JenFrankincenseAndMyrrh · 04/12/2012 16:29

Go Smegs!

TheLittleFriend · 04/12/2012 16:40

Well done for getting through what must have been a thoroughly annoying and exhausting few days smegs. Just one more sneeze and she'll be here x

Good luck tonight/tomorrow Smegs; really glad it's not looking like an induction! Stacks due on 12/12/12! Then Nuts - 28/12/12 - and me-me-me (around 3 Jan) followed by Whims and the triple whammiers in January (is that right?)... There were a lot of brooking BFPs in May/June last year....

Thanks Boo - I want to be kind and not selfish but just think that first 2 weeks should be us time, then extend to friends and family after that.

xxx

MissLToeishavingsantasbabyboo · 04/12/2012 17:01

Absolutely Tock it is such a special time and I think especially when there is a sibling to introduce, it needs to be done carefully, calmly and at your own pace too. I am sure you will find the right way to tell them Xmas Smile

SantasLittleControlGeek · 04/12/2012 17:56

Good luck smegs !!! Xmas Grin

musicalmrs · 04/12/2012 19:36

Good luck Smegs! Brooking for a lovely fast sneeze birth.Smile

GreenOlives · 04/12/2012 19:46

Good luck Smegs!

Tock Its a difficult one. My mum lives in the same village as me so she will be visiting the day that DC2 is born but only for an hour or so and she will be a regular visitor in the first 2 weeks (hopefully bearing home cooked food and taking away ironing as she did last time!) It would be different if she was actually staying at mine tho - I couldn't cope with that! I think its a completely personal choice so you need to
do what's right for you and your little family.
Gen It is nice to have a fellow Brooker with an awkward baby! Wink Im the same with the turning baby exercises - think I'll need to do them earlier in the day as by the evening flopping on the sofa is all im fit for too!
Waves to all!

GenericDietCola · 04/12/2012 21:37

Tock, I reckon you should go with your instinct and if it's more work to have your mum there, then it's fine to put her off until after DP's paternity leave. I'm sure she will understand and you don't need more stress/work at this time. Personally, I'm hoping my mum will come and stay as she was so helpful last time and this time she will be able to help with DD. Mind you, I know what you mean about 'helping her to help', which can be harder than just doing things yourself. Oi and don't forget me - due same day as Whim on 13 Jan! Then the triples (Little, Bartlet and Olives) are in Feb.

Smegs, so glad it is kicking off for you now. In fact, you have prob sneezed by now!

Nuts - wow almost at term! Brilliant!

Olives, I am going to get my ball right now - yesIam yesIam yesIam Xmas Smile

MissLToeishavingsantasbabyboo · 04/12/2012 21:42

Right so it is Smegs (although she is probably done Xmas Smile) then Stacks, Nuts, Whims and Gen then the triplets? Is that about right for now? Who after or have I missed anyone?

MissLToeishavingsantasbabyboo · 04/12/2012 21:43

Ooh Olives when are you sneezing? Sorry I did miss you.

MissLToeishavingsantasbabyboo · 04/12/2012 21:45

And Tock sorry

Biscuitsandtinsel · 04/12/2012 21:46

Gosh! Such a lot of impending brookers!

[rushes off to tidy the post grad room and make sure all the cushions are plumped for new mummies]

So who does that leave? Boo when are you due? Sparks you must be June ish? Who else is there?

Biscuitsandtinsel · 04/12/2012 21:46

Oooh blimey! I'm losing track of you all!

Biscuitsandtinsel · 04/12/2012 21:48

Didn't we have a stats list somewhere? Is it up to date?

GreenOlives · 04/12/2012 22:00

Boo you didn't miss me! Im in the triple gang!
Good work on the ball sitting Gen!

MissLToeishavingsantasbabyboo · 04/12/2012 22:12

I realised just after I got in my bath Olives you, Bartlet and Little ave the triplets.

I am ages away Biscuits not till 3/5/13, I think we do need to update the stats thread. Anyone know where we left it?

As I (think) it is at the moment -
Smegs
Stacks
Nuts
Tock
Whims
Gen
Little, Bartlet, Olives
Then, ooh, surely there is someone else?? Anyone?? It can't be me
Then Sparks

Sorry if I have missed you (again) I'm not doing it on purpose Xmas Smile

Biscuitsandtinsel · 04/12/2012 22:33

Ooh we might have quite a dry patch then between Jan and May?

[wonders if anyone on the ttc thread may have missed 6 a few months of their pregnancy a la Smegs]

SmeggingAroundTheChristmasTree · 05/12/2012 00:24

Well. Babysmegs born at 6:29pm today in the birth centre! 9lb 4oz. Too quick to be a water birth. 0-100mph basically, practically a sneeze birth! We're great, I can't believe what a high I'm on Xmas Grin. Name tba on Facebook.
