Well done the hypnobirthing movement who appear to be addressing the core of most women's concerns around labour and childbirth. Recently a friend told me about another group PCP Matters (accessed via social networks) who not only started their sessions early on in the pregnancy (hip hip hooray!) but gave fear busting techniques and advice on diet, stress, posture etc. I looked them up, their class breakdown seems pretty impressive (pregnancy-childbirth-and-parenting-matters.com/ home page).
Anyone else have any more info on forward thinking progressive antenatal class provision.
The more the better. Fear and anxiety are the main reasons why a women would be asking in the 21st century for her baby to be cut out of her. Antenatal provision needs to 'step up to the plate'.
