He actually arrived on the 30th July, but I've been a bit busy since then .

Felix Oscar was born by elective section at 38 weeks and weighed 8lb 9oz.

BF didn't get off to a great start but I thought we were doing ok until the mw weighed him on day 5 and he had dropped to 7.4 .

We were rushed to the childrens ward at a different hospital as he had jaundice and suspected dehydration. Luckily after blood tests neither were warranted as serious enough for treatment.

We came out the next day as he had gained 2 oz overnight with me feeding him hourly/2 hourly.

Thanks to some help from RL and on here, breastfeeding is now well established and is going swimmingly

Some of you may remember a series of panicked threads worrying about my ability to breastfeed due to my breast reduction and other 'ishoos'. I am still stunned to find that I have a full supply and I am really enjoying it

Who'd have thunk it......

My message was for Jenny .

Haven't had cause to use it yet beyond just messing about with it. The breast pads you sent were great though, don't suppose you remember which make they were?

Thanks socks
