...sorry if not!

My sister gave birth to James Alexander Joseph at 10 this morning in Lewisham Hospital. Just so delighted and happy that they are both safe and well. Can't wait to meet him. Dsis has wanted a baby for a long time and now here he is - he only just missed her 42nd birthday. Happy days.

I was born in Lewisham Hosp, was a while ago now though!

He was 8lb 6oz - ouuuuch! Poor dsis had an induction, episiotomy etc etc with only g&a (well I hope and assume she was given something else for the episiotomy - isn't that right?

Science of measuring babies seems to be a bit of an art form - dsis was told on Monday that he was exactly 7lb 6oz. I know that they can't X-ray any more so it's got to be imprecise - why can't they admit it though??? ah well, rant over. Time to order 8lb 6oz of flowers.
