baby orangina has arrived....

eleni skye arrived at 4:48am on sunday 03/04/05 weighing 6lbs14oz, and she is absolutely gorgeous. labour and delivery less so (16 hours contractions w tens and entenox, told at that point 3cm dilated, i lost it and bellowed for epidural, and then had exactly the opposite birth to the plan i had written out! epidural a joy when the effects finally kicked in, dd hauled out of me w ventouse 29 hours after the whole thing kicked in....), but all worth it for the amazing little creature . back in hospital this week with jaundiced baby who got worse before she got better , all v. upsetting, she was up in special care for a while, but all well now, we're home at last and very happy!

thank you everyone... and rydercup, if the sun is shining with you, pop your lo in the sunshine to help with his jaundice (have a feeling i may be trying to teach you a 2nd timer how to suck eggs ..... sorry!), really hope it gets better soon... xx

Wow - congratulations Orangina! Fantastic news and really lovely name! We had to go into hospital with Jasper too for jaundice - it's so common isn't it? Glad to hear all's well now though
