I finally have a little boy, he was born on Sunday 24th at 10.50 weighing 7lb 10oz, the birth was unbelievably beautiful, i had a water birth although we nearly didnt get the pool filled in time, as i had arrived at the birthing centre about 9.30 and the ontractions were evry 5 mins, they put me on the monitor afor 30 mins, we started to fill the pool at just after 10, i started to get panicky cos i could feel him coming soon. so all hands on deck the MW, DH and my DD2 were using extra containers of water from the sink to get the pool filled in time,i got in and wow, it was instant pain relief, we put music on and my DD and the MW were singing to 'killing me softly'Lauren Hill, as my little boy swam into the world, after all the panic and worry of how the birth was going to be
