Arrived to delivery at aroumd 3.30a.m. 5cms was hooked up to G&A, despite requesting epidural over & over midwife encouraged me not to as it was all over so quickly and she said I was doing great-Baby Mikey (Michael) born with only G&A at 5.37a.m this morning and he is scrummy!!!!Thanks again MNetters. We came home this afternoon. All is well

Congratulations on the birth of Mikey.

I read your labour thread (after all the action had happened) and that plus this thread has inspired me. DC3 is due soon and after 2 long labours with the other two I think I'm going to feel like you did at first when the time comes. Really encouraging to see a happy ending so thanks for posting.

Congratulaions all of you! well done for not going with the epi. Feel glad for you that you sound like it was a more positive experience than your first two labours.

oh aren't you clever! Well done!

agree with scottish mummy on your DS name - excellent. mikey cute name for baby and cool name for teenager. michael or mike is a sensible adult name .
