Hi there,

Excited auntie here. Twin 1 weighed 6lb 13 oz and twin 2 weighed 6lb 4oz. Delivered by elective CS this morning with auntie mears getting to hold them first as they were passed out of the womb

My sis had a few threads here as evansg01. She has worked long and hard to get here.

A milllion thanks to the selfless woman who donated her eggs - my 45 yr old sis will be eternally grateful.

A bit of work required on the breastfeeding front but we will get there

They were 38 weeks too. I wonder what weights they would have been if she had been left another week or two?

Many congratulations to mums and babies (and Auntie)

MarsLady · 22/04/2008 01:16

Great weights! Well done her and congratulations Auntie Mears!

We're on the multi mums thread if there's anything you need to know. I'm sure that the breastfeeding will work out fine. Don't let anyone tell her it's not possible with twins!

WendyWeber · 22/04/2008 01:23

Oh, how lovely - congratulations, auntie mears, and a huuuge well done to your sis

MrsJohnCusack · 22/04/2008 01:25

Mars - may well be seeking you out - the wee monkeys are faffing around about. Both like the right breast and just licking the left. Will need to get that sorted

Any time!

Has she thought about Cranial Osteopathy for them?

It's just SO exciting!

Buda · 22/04/2008 09:11

How exciting!

Maybe there is hope for me yet at almost 44!
