Well.....we didn't get our Christmas baby, but still a Christmas time one! Little Molly was born on Wed 29th, she weighs 7lbs 12 oz (bigger than her sister!) and has masses of dark hair. I keep on calling her dd1's name!! Things started happening on Sunday evening, went shopping on Monday (no bargins but I reckon the walking all helped) and on Tuesday I went to hospital only to be sent home - was only 2 cm, had a long sleepless night and went back to hospital at about 7am on Wed.....and out she came just in time for lunch! Managed on gas and air alone, a much different labour this time, much more active and soooo much quicker. There were no beds left on the postnatal ward so ended up in a private room. Bliss! Spent the night and were home Thursday morning.
We love love love our new little girl, never thought we'd make it this far - really does make the last year or so worth it to have her lying her beside me with so much to look forward to.
love hana
xx

of course have told hubby I'd do it again.....am I mad?

Many congratulations Hana and a very Happy New Year to you and your family. It sounded like a lovely birth. How blissful to get a private room too. I completely agree that it is so special to be starting the year off with a new baby. I love her name! I can relate to you calling her the wrong one though. I do it all the time with the twins.

That's a really lovely birth story, well done for managing on gas and air, and so lovely to hear you're completely besotted. No, course you're not mad to say you'd do it all over again... CONGRATULATIONS! And a very Happy New Year! (And what a great way to start it).

Congratulations hana. I am so plesed to read that everything went so well and that you are already in love with Molly. (Lovely name so I am sure that you will start to use it as soon as you are less tired. Mind you, I mix up all three of my guys names some days...) You went through so much to get here and have been so supportive of all the other mums who have experienced diffuculties; be sure to enjoy every minute of both your girls' lives. Happy New year!
