Baby Mia Erin was born on the 12th March at 8.31 am. Weighing in at 7 lbs 13 1/2 oz and at home after an all night labour. Labour came on quickly and progessed really nicely and was pushing after a few hours of contractions , Mw thinking baby would be quick then. However after pushing for an hour had an examination and found I was only 8 cms dilated, no wonder it wasn't coming out! Painfully then dilated last 2cm quickly and started pushing again. Nearly gave up( as if I had a choice[smile[) went throught 4 gas &air canisters and had to have an ambulance to bring more , but 2 were leaking so not all me.After many , many positions finally pushed her out sitting on the toilet ,moving to the bed just as she was being born.We're all doing fine and everyone doting on the new addition. she is gorgeous.
