Best time for parents and in laws to visit baby?

Due our first baby really soon! Just wondering when your parents and in laws visited the baby and how to make it fair so one doesn’t feel like they missed out on first visit? Is that even a thing?

We are considering asking MIL if she wants to go to my mums when I am in labour to wait for news and then then can visit together. However I don’t know how long labour would be and don’t want to put myself under any kind pressure for visits before I even know how the labour will go and what my recovery will be like.

Both my parents and MIL are easy going so I know they won’t overstay their welcome and I am comfortable around them all. So can’t see it being any issue having them visit within a day or so.

What was everyone else’s experience?

DH messaged them all when DS1 was born, whoever got there quickest was first to meet them. PIL were looking after DS1 for DS2's birth so they brought him over.
