Hi all, so I have 2 children aged 12 and 6.. I am currently pregnant with 3rd baby after 4 years of trying.. however my OH knows already as I couldn't keep the excitement to myself and we also told our eldest daughter. However I am currently 7w4d... we decided to wait till I was 12 weeks to say anything to my 6 year old daughter. I was wondering how I should tell her... any advice?? I know she will be so happy as she has always wanted to be a big sister.. thanks

"There's going to be another baby, you're going to be a big sister"

That should do the trick.

I just saw this which I thought was sweet;

  1. Give Them A Letter or Gift From The Baby:
Give your kids a letter or gift from the new baby. Have them unwrap a “big sister” or “big brother” shirt and let them know it’s going to be them! You can also have the baby write a nice note explaining how excited they are to meet their new siblings in a few months.

Some
Ppl will think it's cringe but we ordered this from Etsy for my 9 year old- going to give it to her on Tuesday all being well after our scan at 10 weeks!
