Amelia Mae arrived at 11.29am on Saturday Sept 11th and weighed 8 pounds 6 and after 12 hours of labour (last 6 hours I gave in to a wonderful mobile epidural!) she was born with help from nasty episiotomy and ventouse experience as she was stuck andit turned a bit frantic!!

Despite not being able to sit, stand or even lean forward I am madly in love with her and surprisingly elated in a shattered sort of way!! I escaped being induced by a matter of one day but am very glad as she came in her own time as i had hoped she would!

So far she is a good girl also but I won't jinx it by saying anymore as this could be the calm before the storm!!

Lolabelle · 18/09/2004 14:09

Thanks ladies for all your kind messages - sorry its taken so long to reply but have been busy getting to know my beautiful little girl !

She's very sleepy and well behaved and we've only had one sleepless night so far which is pretty good going if you ask me although we are told this may not last!!

I will write soon as there are loads of people i want to congratulate on their new arrivals but very busy with many visitors at the moment but that should die down soon and i can get back to some normality!! - thanks again for all your kind messages, I'm very happy and yes I am enjoying that falling in love feeling very much!!
