Thank you for all the wellwishing and support from the December Ante-natal thread and all the other mums (you know who you are) who have put up with me on this journey. You will all be pleased to know that Christopher decided to join us bang on his due date - I'm glad someone in this family is punctual!! Xmas Smile - Sunday 10th December at 02:55am. He weighed 8lbs 5ozs and measured 54cms.

Totally different experience than I had with Matthew (16 hour long labour with epidural resulting in a ventouse delivery with episiotomy), Christopher was born with the help of one shot of pethadine and gas and air within 3 hours. I had a slight tear but can't even feel the stitches and have not needed pain relief since. Plus feeding is fantastic. He went straight to thebreast and fed for about 30-40mins, the midwife was threatening to stop it but backed away when she saw my face . I had issues before as Matthew didn't like being handled after the ventouse (head was sore bless) so I was determined when Chris was feeding he'd stay there!!!!

We came home on Monday but life has been a bit different now we have 2 little people to contend with.
If I ever figure out how to post pictures I will do it!!

HE IS SUCH A CUTIE!! Xmas Smile Xmas Smile Xmas Smile Xmas Smile Xmas Smile Xmas Smile Xmas Smile
