Micromum is in heaven with No 3

Hi all,

Contractiions started yesterday morning at 4am, every 7-8 min it got to 8am and they were 3min appart. Went to birthing unit, i had 2 m/w (1 training) stayed with me the whole time and made me and d/h tea and toast. Midwives sat and chatted to us alot while i was having contractions it was really nice and calm, even brought d/h a stew dinner at lunch time. I got in and out of birthing pool a few times, waters broke in birthing pool about 1.45 and baby was born at 2.17pm in birthing pool.

I would recommend a birthing unit to anybody, (low risk) a fantastic experience

Baby girl no name yet weight 8lb 14oz and dark hair.

1B1B had baby number2 at 0045 on 10/09/06. Babys weight 10lbs 12.5oz still in hospital due to bleed. speak to you all soon love 1b1b
