Hi everyone,
Havent posted for a long time but here goes. Due date - had terrible backache all night, no sleep. Next day - contractions started in the afternoon, got to ten mins apart going all night, stopped in the morning, no sleep again. Next day, waters broke, contractions started again, got to ten mins apart. Due to previous c section was told to go in when contractions 10 mins apart. Was told i wasnt in labour and sent to bed with paracetamol, no sleep again. Then guess what? Got to five mins in the morning and stopped again! By dinnertime was told that although i wasnt in labour, baby didnt like contractions and was in distress. Half an hour later was told baby was now fine but they would start me on a drip as i still wasnt in labour. (Even though i was in absolute agony because contractions had started AGAIN). All got to be a bit too much, pain, lack of sleep, worried about baby etc and daft bugger here burst into floods of tears and asked for another section! Felt guilty about being such a wimp and giving up but it was all worth it when i saw my beautiful tiny girl, just 5lb. Shes three months now and an absolute delight!

Congratulations! You do wonder what on earth they are thinking when they say you are't in labour... what on earth are contractions then, were you just having them for a laugh? Should put this in stupid things people have said to you
