Bryce Ella was born Wednesday 6:54 am weighing 7lb 8, sharing the same birthday with her proud aunty kinkerpinki. She looks like a little native american dolly and has a big black spiky mohican and Im all mushy over her.
Just tryin to get my head around it all as it all seems so fast, even though early labour seemed to go on for an age!Im a bit shell shocked that Ive done it, but so excited as was nearly natural birth , only tens machine and one shot of pethadine. I managed to get myself to 5cm at home with the help of hypnobrithing so was half way there by the time we got to the delivery suite. Was very positive , exciting , primeval birth , so will post my story once my heads a bit more in gear. Also great as really different in comparison to my medicalised and scary 1st birth which led me having PTSD & PND. Lets hope theres none of that this time.
I got sent home same day (early last night!!), as feeding going well and Im doing well , if not zonked and shaky. Unfortunately didnt get away with not having a tear and ended up with 2nd degree one(which is all stitched YUCK), as babs had cord round her neck so they had to stop her flying out !
DD1 seems very proud and excited and said shes just like my niece now who has younger brother , "Im a big girl like my cousin".
