Well after being 4 days overdue I eventually had a beautiful baby boy. He weighs 8lb 11oz and is v long.
I had been having backache for 2 days and then on the tuesday while shopping I was having quite strong BH. I went home and they were every 10 mins but after 1hr they stopped.
At 4.30pm They restarted and I called DH etc
At 6pm They were now every 10 mins but more intense but only lasting 20secs.
7-8pm Mum came and collected DD and I got in the bath where they changed to every 6 mins
We called the hosp who told us to come in.
9.30pm Got to the hosp and was 7cm dilated
11.30 contractions now constant and feeling ready to push.
12.23am he was born.
He had a v long cord which was wrapped around his body but he was fine. I only grazed and needed 2 stiches and felt shaky but fine.
He is wonderful. He has a wonky nose and is looking a squashed but still wonderful.
